Frog Camp is a once-in-a-lifetime program that introduces you to the TCU community. This extended-orientation program is offered off-campus in different environments around Fort Worth, the United States, and the world. We offer a wide range of Frog Camps in June, July and August geared to fit your schedule and interests. You can raft down Colorado’s Taylor River during Alpine, or explore a Mystery Destination and find out where you’re going when we get there. Engage with your new home in Fort Worth during Cultura, Quest or Casa Nueva. You’ll walk away from Frog Camp with new friends, faculty/staff resources and upper-division mentors. You’ll also get an inside look at what it means to be a Horned Frog, learn TCU traditions, and how you are going to make a difference at TCU. We can’t promise you’ll sleep a lot while you’re at camp, but we can promise you will have an unforgettable experience.
What Can I Expect?
Although each Frog Camp is located in a different place, all incoming students will have a similar small group experience. All incoming students are placed into small groups with two upper-class facilitators, and a faculty/staff mentor. Your small group will be home base throughout your Frog Camp experience, and you will explore and discuss many aspects of going to college and becoming a Horned Frog.
TCU has recognized the value of this experience, and we are pleased to be able to offer the opportunity to attend Frog Camp at no cost for any of our camps located in Texas (listed as Texas Camps). There is a fee for camps located outside of the State of Texas, called Travel Camps. Space is limited and some camps fill quickly, so please register soon. Registration is done on a first-come, first-served basis and waitlist options are available on myTCU once a camp is at capacity.
