Frog Camp is one of the most cherished TCU traditions. There is no cost to attend the Texas Camps listed below. It does not matter which camp you attend, you will be greeted with welcoming upper-division students, passionate faculty and staff, and lots of new Horned Frog friends. Please read below for details on each of our Texas Camps.
Descriptions of Texas Camps
Challenge A & B
At this camp located at a campgrounds in Bruceville, Texas you will jump in to the challenge course, get head-to-toe dirty during Grimy Games and roast marshmallows at night.
Casa Nueva A, B & C**
Casa Nueva introduces you to your new home away from home. You’ll learn how to line dance at Billy Bob’s honky-tonk and wander through the wilds of the Fort Worth Zoo.
**International Students strongly encouraged to attend Casa Nueva C!
Quest is the only four-day camp in Texas and will introduce you to the Fort Worth community through service. You will also get to explore the Botanic Gardens and maybe even try your luck at a local Escape Room with your new friends.
Cultura shows the more modern side of Fort Worth. You will experience the exhibits at a local museum, catch a show downtown and enjoy some fun-in-the-sun floating the Trinity River.
Summit takes place at a campgrounds in Bruceville, Texas and kicks off with a series of physical, mental, and creative challenges that will test your teamwork and ingenuity. This camp gives you the opportunity to come together with others in your small group to figure out your own strengths and use those on to the Summit Championship. This camp conflicts with Sorority Recruitment and TCU Marching Band.

Schedule of Texas Camps
- Check-in on TCU’s campus at 1 p.m. Please eat lunch before you come.
- Buses will drop students off at TCU between 4 – 6 p.m. Please confirm the exact time based on your pre-camp email. If you are flying home after camp, do not schedule a flight prior to 7 p.m.
We do not provide a detailed schedule of camp activities. Students must ride the bus to/from TCU and the location of their Frog Camp and must stay on-site for the duration of their Frog Camp. If a student is unable to stay for the full experience, they need to change their registration to another available Frog Camp.
Cost of Texas Camps
No cost for Texas Camps! We want everyone to be able to experience Frog Camp. There is no cost to attend, if you register for and attend a Texas Camp. If you cancel your registration after our cancellation deadline, or do not show to the camp you are registered for, then you will be charged a Cancellation/No Show Fee.
