1. Does TCU provide transportation to/from local airports?

Two major commercial airports serve the Dallas/Fort Worth (DFW) area— Dallas Love Field and DFW International.  DFW International is closer to TCU with a number of major airlines servicing this airport. TCU does not provide transportation to or from the airport. The following services are available to and from the airports:

Super Shuttle: 800.BLUVAN (258.3826) or www.supershuttle.com, beginning at $30 per person, one way.
Public Taxi: From the airport to TCU, a public taxi will cost approximately $60.

2. Does TCU provide housing accommodations before/after Frog Camp?

If you are attending an Orientation session and will be participating in a Frog Camp the next day, you have the option to remain in your Orientation accommodations between programs and do not need to provide any extra information. If you are participating in a Frog Camp and attending an Orientation session the next day, the same applies. Unfortunately, TCU cannot provide housing accommodations outside of these situations. If you are arriving early or staying late, please make your own accommodation reservations off campus at a local hotel.

3. What should I bring to Frog Camp?

Please refer to each individual camp page found here, for the suggested packing list for the specific camp you will be attending. Detailed information regarding your registered camp, including the packing list, will be sent to your TCU email address a few weeks before camp.

4. What do I do if I am having problems registering for Orientation and/or Frog Camp?

You must pay your non-refundable enrollment deposit before you can register for Orientation and/or Frog Camp. Please be aware that it can take up to 24-48 hours for deposits to be processed before the link will open on your my.tcu.edu page. If you have paid your deposit, please make sure you are not using a mobile device or tablet, and using the most up-to-date version of your chosen internet browser to avoid potential problems. Registration for Orientation and Frog Camp is completed together as one process. After you select an orientation session, you will be directed to the Frog Camp page.  If problems persist call Student Development Services at 817-257-7855 or email fye@tcu.edu and provide your Student ID number in your email.

5. What if the Frog Camp I want to register for is full?

Registration for Frog Camp opens March 13, 2017 and registration takes place on a first-come, first-serve basis. If the camp that you would like to register for is full, you will see a “Sign Up for Waitlist” button appear next to the camp on the registration page. You may add yourself to the waitlist by selecting that button. You may only be on the waitlist for one camp. We highly encourage you to sign up for another Frog Camp while remaining on the waitlist for your first choice as this ensures you will be able to attend Frog Camp.

Spots open on a rotating basis as they become available. If you receive an offer from the waitlist, it will be sent to your TCU email. Waitlist offers are typically available for 48-hours before your spot is forfeited and the next student on the list is contacted. Additional spots will not be added to camps.

6. How do I pay for Frog Camp?

If you are attending a camp outside of Texas the fee for Frog Camp will be charged to your TCU account after the camp has occurred. Camps located in Texas are free of charge. All Frog Camps are subject to our Cancellation Policy & No Show Policy charges (see policy below).

Cancellation Policy & No Show Policy

Because of the limited space available and the high demand of incoming students who wish to attend Frog Camp, we must enforce a strict cancellation and no show policy. Cancellations must be received by the deadlines listed below. Any cancellations after the deadline, or failure to attend the registered camp, will be subject to a cancellation fee. Cancellations must be received in writing to fye@tcu.edu.
