Partner With Us

Faculty/Staff Partners

Over the summer, we will have approximately 120 faculty/staff partners join us in welcoming new students. By serving as a faculty/staff partner you get to participate in all camp activities, engage with new and current students, and help to educate students on what it means to be a positive part of the TCU community. Many faculty/staff partners who have volunteered for camp in the past have indicated that Frog Camp is something they look forward to each summer. As one faculty member stated:

“I have found being a faculty member at Frog Camp to be an immensely rewarding, edifying, and rejuvenating experience. I can’t imagine starting a new year without being a part of Frog Camp. I feel truly honored and blessed to be allowed the opportunity to be a part of this amazing part of the TCU experience. I just hope that I am able to convince other faculty to support Frog Camp.”

Registration information will be sent to all TCU faculty and staff emails in February. Faculty/Staff partners must be teaching or working at TCU in the fall semester. As a faculty/staff partner, you will be assigned to a small group of 15-18 students. The small group will be led by two upper-division students who will act as the facilitators. You role is to help support the new students by answer questions and providing them insight on strategies to help their learning and engagement in the first year of college. You will also act as a campus resource for new students in your small group and be a support for the facilitators. Once you are at camp, we ask that you stay with us throughout the camp and stay overnight with us. A camp specific packing list will be provided to you as we get closer to the summer.
