January Orientation & Frog Camp
Registration information on January Orientation & Frog Camp will be available at the beginning of November.
Orientation- January 11, 2018
Orientation is required for any student who is coming to college for the first time or graduated from high school in the past year. It is highly encouraged for transfer students. January Orientation is a one-day program to acclimate new students to academic life at TCU and an opportunity for new students to register for spring semester classes. Check in will begin at 8 a.m. in the Brown Lupton University Union and the schedule will conclude at 5 p.m.
Frog Camp Tundra- January 12-14, 2018
Frog Camp Tundra welcomes all incoming students to TCU enrolling for the spring semester. Students will be in small groups led by two upper-level students and a faculty or staff member. You will make new friends while working together to complete challenges, engage in the traditions of TCU, and learn about the important skills and resources needed to be successful on campus. Come join the excitement!
Check-in on TCU Campus at 1:00 p.m. Please eat lunch prior to check-in. Buses will depart for camp shortly after check-in.
Buses will drop students off at TCU around 2:00 p.m.
2. Warm, casual winter clothing for three days (pack in layers as it may be warmer during the day)
3. One pair of comfortable, closed-toe shoes
4. Sleeping bag or single sheets, pillow, and a blanket
5. Toiletries and towels/washcloth, etc. for showers
6. Sun screen and warm hat, insect repellent, and flashlight
Cost: No cost, however there is a cancellation and no show fee.

When making your reservation, please consult with your family and/or guests prior to submitting your online form. Changes and additions to an existing reservation should be done online by modifying your reservation in your my.tcu.edu account and must be done at least three business days in advance of the scheduled session. Because of the limited space available and the high demand of incoming students who wish to attend Frog Camp, we must enforce a strict cancellation and no show policy. Cancellations must be received by the deadline listed below. Any cancellations after the deadline, or failure to attend the registered camp, will be subject to a cancellation fee. Cancellations must be received in writing to firstname.lastname@example.org by the date listed below.
