Incoming Transfers

COVID-19 Update 3.23.2020:

We can confirm that the summer 2020 schedule will look different from the schedule you received in the First Year, Housing & Transfer Experience booklet. It is our goal to announce the updated 2020 Orientation and Frog Camp dates by May 1.  This announcement will also include the new Orientation/Frog Camp registration date and process.

Once announced, you will find the updated options on our websites (www.orientation.tcu.edu, www.frogcamp.tcu.edu, and www.transfers.tcu.edu).

………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………

ORIENTATION is an academic introduction to TCU. You will meet with an advisor, register for classes, figure out dining plans and financial commitments, learn the layout of the campus and meet other incoming students. As a transfer, you may be eligible to be advised and register for classes earlier than the first Transfer Orientation, but there are still a lot of resources to be gained. We look forward to seeing you! Opportunities available throughout Summer and in January.

FROG CAMP is more of a social orientation to TCU. All Texas locations are now FREE of charge! You can choose from a number of different themes over summer, but the core of Frog Camp is the same at all camps. Challenge B is preferred for incoming transfer students in the fall as there are transfer small groups incorporated. You will meet new friends, learn about TCU traditions, and connect with faculty and staff partners. Frog Camp is internationally known and we know students who attend are more successful at TCU. We hope you will take advantage of the opportunity. Texas camps, especially Summit are the most attended camps for transfer students.

FROGS FIRST is TCU’s welcome weekend before the fall semester and we have a Transfer Track just for you! Watch your TCU email over the summer for registration information. It’s a ton of fun, free of cost, and one of the best ways to meet new friends on campus.
